One of my favorite places to go in the panhandle. I love to sit on the back deck and watch the boats go by while I eat my food and drink from the wide beer selection. And this is one of the few restaurants that understands the size cocktail sauce I like to use. Look at the picture I posted. It's a pint sized jar on every table. And you can get plenty more. They don't skimp around. My wife liked the Brussel sprouts. I'll take her word for it because I can't stand the things so I don't know if they are good ones or not. But these were the absolute best hush puppies on the planet. I hate to admit it, but my son and I went back and got a second side order of the hush puppies after dinner. Darn they were good. The best part about the whole place is that they are pet friendly. Great place.
Really good seafood but it's a little expensive. Sides are mostly a la carte. Still, it's worth it. The porch area is pet friendly which is nice. Amazing views while you eat. The water fowl on view are amazing (see my photo). This is a really down-to-earth place so you need to do-it-yourself as far as service goes.
Food is good if you like weird combinations. Don't care about how you have to go to the counter and order your food & get up and leave your food to refill your own drinks. Basically self service & if I'm going to do all that I might as well cook myself too. My fishing customers from out of town seems to love it there, so I guess I'll give it a 4 star review for that!
The patio has a superb view of the bay. The oysters are totally fresh. The chef knows what he is doing so don't be afraid to vary from the Staples although the staples are great too. Mango gets used frequently with the seafood. Love this place every time we are in town.
One of my favorite places in Apalachicola! We visit St. George Island every year for spring break and at least once per visit, we eat here. Friendly service, pretty good food, and the balcony is a fun place to sit and watch the sun set over the bay.
