Right on the water. Attentive service. And great raw oysters for $15/doz. Shrimp basket hit the spot. If they had craft beers it would be 5 stars.
Horrible! The hostess was rude and kept stomping around. We stood waiting for a seat for a good 15 minutes. We got sat and our waitress was a no show for another 15 minutes. We ordered 2 drinks and boiled shrimp. Drinks were horrible and shrimp was raw. We sent the shrimp back and paid for the horrible drinks. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Great location but that's it. Food, drinks, service and staff are horrible!! PS. For 2 drinks was $18.
My first time trying steamed oysters and the were very good, but very small for $15 / dozen. The Oyster Stew was fantastic. I had the best server. Her name was Kandice and she was the greatest.
Rustic setting, no doubts about it being a Seafood restaurant (namely oysters). Excellent portions and freshness is what I will remember about eating here. Worth a try for the competitive raw oyster person as well.
This place is hard to notice from the street, and seems like a small hole in the wall. But, once you enter the restaurant entrance area, it's a really cool place. There's seating indoors and outside on the deck, which is practically a foot above the river water. The oysters are the star of the menu, obviously, and they're delicious. They were a little more expensive than other places ($10 for half dozen vs 15 for a dozen) but they were the best oysters we've had in Apalachicola, so they were worth it. They had a good selection of domestic and import beer, as well as specialty cocktails. The rest of the menu was pretty standard, but I'll admit I didn't scrutinize it since I was there for the oysters. Highly recommend making this part of your Apalachicola trip.
